At The Hebridean Woolhouse we get the undyed fleece of Hebridean sheep spun into yarn and then knitted or woven into a range of country clothing.
We provide woollen sweaters, waistcoats, cardigans and pullovers all suited to a wide range of activities.
The country pursuits sweaters and cardigans are particularly popular as the provide good shower resistance due to the natural oils in the wool.
The wool is also woven to make scarves, picnic blankets and throws and cushion covers.
A limited range of tweed made from the undyed Hebridean fleece with coloured Shetland wool incorporated within in it to make the subtle checks, is used in the production of our flat caps, beautiful handbags, and other design products as well as being available in lengths ideal for bespoke tailoring.
